What it claims:
SonicDermabrasion™ Facial Brush produces a sonic frequency that works with the natural elasticity of the skin to deeply and gently cleanse. SonicDermabrasion™ facial care system includes SonicDermabrasion™ facial brush, professional Microdermabrasion Scrub, Hydrating Firming Complex and two snap-on Micro-Fiber Exfoliating Bristle Brush applicators.
Why did I purchase:
I purchased the Pretika Facial Brush last Friday [I'd already purchased the Clarisonic for my mother and didn't have the extra $$ to buy another $200 piece of equipment.] I’d heard about the Pretika from others who claim to love it, so I thought why not? I’ve been really lazy about my skin and haven’t been exfoliating like I normally do. I have also been really lax on OCM which has kept my skin in fantastic condition. The result is of course, blackheads. I had about 12 really small ones that were about to turn into a serious problem.
I usually only breakout monthly on my jawline and sometimes on my cheeks and near my nose/mouth. But because of my laziness, I began to breakout around my hairline, forehead and temples too. That almost NEVER happens. I knew I had to get back on my game. And since I’d broken another manual facial brush, and the sonictoothbrush is just too hard, I felt it was time for an upgrade.
My review:
I like it a lot. I like how it feels on my skin. I like how it pretty much eliminated my blackheads in just a few days. I like how comfortable it is to hold. And I don’t mind the products that came with it. I think they feel great.
I wish it were waterproof like the Clarisonic. I wish that it came with brushes with different levels of firmness. I wish it had a brush cover since it is housed in the bathroom and I don’t have a WC. And I also I fear that the battery will die as I’ve read in a quite a few online reviews.
Overall, if it holds up, this product is a keeper.
Cost:
I purchased this gem at Rite-Aid for $29.99.
